Ordinary Time

June, July, August, September, October, November

The time when we learn how to live as Christians in the World.  We answer the questions:  "What difference does Christ make in how we think, how we live, and how we treat our neighbors?"

The time when we learn we are not perfect because we are in the church, but that being in the church makes us better.  We are better because faith  gives us a deep sense of the love of God, the grace that God offers us and the call to love our neighbors the way that God loves us.

1820 Building right.  This building burned to the ground.

1840 replacement Left.

The right building was built in 1893.  It burnt one night in 1924 destroying all its contents except a grand piano which is still in use in the sanctuary today.

The left building was finished in 1926 and is still in use today.  It will not burn down, thanks to its creators.

Core Values:

We believe in God through Christ and the Holy Spirit.

We put God first and live in God's grace.

We will love all of God's children.

We will share God's love through service in/to/with the world.

We encourage Discipleship.

We strive to resolve conflict peacefully.

We claim these values so that we will be a vibrant congregation.

Four church buildings over 190 years.

The first church was destroyed by fiire.  The second building was outgrown.

The third church was destroyed by fire in 1924.  The fourth building, which we still  inhabit today, was built in 1926.  We have a gorgeous sanctuary.   Check it out as a wedding location.
