Community Outreach
New Partner Churches and Community Groups are welcomed and needed.  In order to continue serving the community a lunch every Saturday, and to begin serving homeless children through Family Promise, we need help.  Call the church office at 896-5683 for information.  We will come to your church or group to talk about this wonderful opportunity to be God's hands and feet in our community.

Community Lunch Every Saturday - With the help of our partner churches we serve between 200-300 meals every Saturday to our guests.  Volunteers and new partner organizations are always welcome.

Family Promise of Butler County - As of 2015, over 500 children are reported homeless in our Butler County school districts.  First will serve as a host church when this program opens its doors to serve those children and their families.

LUNCHLOVECOMMUNITY
Did you know?
In 2015, 8,409 people were served hot, homemade meals on real china at the Saturday Community Lunch. That's an average of 162 people each week.
Since we encourage our guests to truly be filled by offering seconds, thirds, fourths, and take home meals - that came to 14,380 meals for an average of 277 meals per week.
In addition to tummies being filled, spirits were filled as 2571 people attended the worship service that is held during the lunch.
1133 volunteers (many who are there every month, or even several times a month) shared their love of God and their love of others by helping prepare and serve meals and clean up afterwards.
